Transitions between diameters, built to drawing

Cone and Reducer Manufacturer in India

Rajog manufactures fabricated and machined cone and reducer components for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, process equipment, storage systems, piping assemblies and other industrial applications — from simple concentric reducers to custom fabricated conical sections, built to approved drawings, dimensional requirements, material specifications and application conditions.

Smooth transitions, controlled geometry

Custom cone and reducer manufacturing.

Cone and reducer components are used to connect sections with different diameters, provide smooth transitions, and support changes in flow or equipment geometry. Rajog manufactures these components according to customer drawings and project requirements, produced to the required dimensions, thickness, material and configuration.

Cone components for industrial equipment.

Conical components are commonly integrated into pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, process equipment and fabricated assemblies. Their geometry requires controlled forming and fabrication to maintain the required profile. Where required, cone sections can be manufactured as part of a larger equipment fabrication project.

Two configurations

Concentric and eccentric reducers.

Reducers are used where equipment or piping requires a transition between different diameters. Depending on the application, the transition may require a concentric or eccentric configuration.

Concentric reducers

Concentric reducers maintain a common centerline between the larger and smaller diameters and are suitable for applications where symmetrical reduction is required.

Eccentric reducers

Eccentric reducers offset the centerline between the two diameters and can be used where equipment layout, drainage, flow conditions, or installation requirements require an offset transition.

Controlled fabrication

Fabricated conical sections.

Fabricated conical sections are manufactured by forming and joining plate sections to achieve the required cone geometry. Controlled fabrication is important to maintain the specified diameter, angle, thickness and overall dimensions. These components can be supplied as individual parts or incorporated into complete equipment fabrication.

How it works

Manufacturing process.

Rajog follows a controlled manufacturing workflow for custom cone and reducer components.

01

Drawing review

Customer drawings, dimensions, tolerances, materials and technical requirements are reviewed.

02

Material selection

Required plate or raw material is selected according to the approved specification.

03

Cutting & preparation

Material is cut and prepared according to the required cone or reducer geometry.

04

Forming & rolling

The plate is formed or rolled to achieve the required conical profile.

05

Fit-up & welding

Components are aligned, fitted and welded according to the required fabrication procedure.

06

Machining / finishing

Additional machining, edge preparation or finishing is completed where specified.

07

Dimensional inspection

Diameter, height, angle, thickness, alignment and other critical dimensions are inspected.

08

Final inspection

The finished component is checked against the approved drawing and project requirements before dispatch.

Drawing-based manufacturing

Drawing-based cone and reducer manufacturing.

Industrial cone and reducer requirements often vary from one project to another. Rajog therefore supports drawing-based manufacturing instead of relying only on standard dimensions, allowing the component to be manufactured according to the actual equipment design.
